Making a tea, coffee or hot drink is quick and easy with our NORTON 4-in-1 tap.
To dispense boiling water, you will need to use the safety feature – twist the knob to the hot water function, it will flash red, turn off and back on again to red within 2 seconds to dispense. All functions dispense for up to 60 seconds then switch off.
You can use 1.2 litres of boiling water in one go (around four or five cups). After that it reheats, which takes between three and four minutes.
TAPOD dispenses water through the drink station at 96C, which we believe is the perfect temperature for the perfect brew. It is also safer and minimizes spitting and spraying.
*When we talk about boiling water, we are referring to water that dispenses at 96C. We use the term ‘boiling’ as calling it hot water would be confusing.

Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs) are compounds that evaporate easily from water into air at normal air temperatures. VOCs are contained in a wide variety of products including fuels, solvents, cleaners, degreasers, paints, inks, dyes and pesticides. People are most commonly exposed to VOCs through the air, in food, through skin contact and in drinking water.
PP cotton has a combination of surface, deep layer and coarse fine filtration. Due to these multiple advantages of PP cotton, it has the characteristics of large flow, high precision, corrosion resistance, high pressure resistance, the carbon block filter is also wrapped in a microporous cloth which further reduces sediment.
Carbon cartridges made with carbon fiber block technology are far more advanced than traditional carbon block cartridges, offering up to double the amount of filtration capacity than standard carbon blocks. Benefits of higher flow rates, lower pressure drops, higher treatment capacity and less susceptibility to premature blocking from sediment make them the leading carbon cartridges on the market.
The fibers (coated in powdered activated carbon) have a very large surface area to offer increased capacity, more flow paths to allow for increased flow and reduced pressure drop and also create areas where sediment and microplastic particles can be trapped. Lead and other heavy metals removal can be targeted.

Reverse osmosis is a water purification process that uses a partially permeable membrane to separate ions, unwanted molecules and larger particles from drinking water. This allows the passage of water molecules but not the majority of dissolved salts, organics, bacteria and pyrogens.
The water is pushed through the reverse osmosis membrane by applying pressure that is greater than the naturally occurring osmotic pressure in order to desalinate (demineralize or deionize) water in the process, allowing pure water through while holding back a majority of contaminants.
Reverse osmosis works by using a high-pressure pump to increase the pressure on the one side of the RO and force the water across the semi-permeable RO membrane, leaving almost all (around 95% to 99%) of impurities behind in the reject stream providing the purest water.

The water dispensed from your 5-in-1 tap is already free from contaminants, bacteria and impurities, as it has been filtered through our water purifier. However, as an additional hygiene measure, built in to the TAPOD® is UV sterilization at the point of dispensing.
With instant-start UV sterilization, a high efficiency UV light eliminates 99.9% of germs without affecting the taste of the chilled or sparkling water. There is a LED light notification to alert you when a new UV lamp is required.
The Tap requires a standard 35mm diameter hole cut out.
Before installation, please make sure there is sufficient clearance between the back of the tap handles and the splash-back/upstand. You will need a minimum of 35mm to allow the tap handle to operate correctly.

Yes, a 240 socket is required for the TAPOD and an additional socket for the purifier is required.
The TAPOD® must be located under the 5 in 1 tap within 50cm- The purifier can be located in another location; 4 m of pipe is provided for this.
TAPOD dispenses water at around 96C, which we believe is the perfect temperature for the perfect hot drink. This temperature is slightly below boiling point. We designed TAPOD to dispense water at this temperature specifically for safety reasons and to make better tasting drinks.
TAPOD delivers 1.2 litres of boiling water in one go (around four or five cups), it will then reheat, which takes between three and four minutes.
